Why Work with Me?

I am a qualified Clinical Naturopath who has completed studies of a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy. I am registered with the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA). I have an ethical and professional responsibility to practice in line with their Code of Conduct standards.

I believe it is my responsibility to conduct sessions in a safe and ethical manner. I prioritise informed consent and deliver what I have promised with integrity. I hold space for you to explore your needs and only practice within the scope of my qualifications. I undertake ongoing professional development and make all reasonable efforts to meet a high standard of best practice. In the instance that I believe your health needs exceed my qualifications or my scope of practice I will in the best interest of your health refer you to another practitioner who I believe can provide you with best practice to cater to your individual health needs for a beneficially therapeutic outcome.

What I Expect from You

To get the most out of working with me you take responsibility and care for your own wellbeing. I require you to arrive to appointments on time not only to respect both mine and your time but so that we get the most out of the time specifically allocated to your consult.

Important Information

There are always risks associated with any medical or complimentary medicine treatment. At any time that during your Naturopathy treatment new symptoms arise, you experience side effects, or your treatment plan becomes unclear to you, please reach out immediately so that I can offer you clarification and guidance through any unexpected outcomes.

Limitations

Your safety is of the upmost importance to me, should you present with any red flag symptoms it is my duty of care to refer you to a General practitioner to continue medical care. During the event of any emergency, I will not hesitate to contact emergency services.

If any concerns arise during our work together, I strongly recommend you seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

You will get the most out of working with me if you have a positive attitude and are willing to work hard to make diet and lifestyle changes to establish best conditions for health. It’s important you are complaint with your prescription to the best of your ability to achieve short and long term health goals. I request that you are open minded and courteous in allowing me to share evidenced based information that explains what the cause of your current symptomology may be and seek clarification in the instance that the information I provide to you is not clear. My role is to empower you with the necessary knowledge and tools to optimise your health, however it’s imperative to acknowledge that the responsibility for implementing these tools and strategies lies with you. In doing so I very much look forward to working together to optimise your health and wellness.

You might not be a good fit for this work if you are not willing to be patient to allow the time it requires for me to truly find the root cause of your illness and allow your body the necessary time it takes to heal itself along with my naturopathic support. When it is possible, I communicate with my client realistic timelines of when to expect to see results to prevent disappointment.

If you are looking for a quick fix Naturopathy and my professional services may not be a good fit for you and me.

Indemnity

I do not make any guarantees or warranties about the accuracy of any material displayed on this website, or the products, services, or programs offered through it, except for any non-excludable consumer guarantees and other consumer protection provisions set out in the Australian Consumer Law. I am human and errors creep in despite the best of intentions. If you see something that doesn’t seem right, please let me know.

Payment Terms

All prices on my and In Touch Health Co’s website are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST, which will be added upon payment of services and products for Australian clients.

Please refer to the online New Patient Form that you are requested to fill in prior to your consult for pricing, and payment terms.

Payment is due at the time of your consultation. Payment for Telehealth appointments are taken prior to the commencement of your consultation and payment can be taken before or after your face-to-face consultation.

Refund Policy

I do not offer a refund if you change your mind, so you are encouraged to consider carefully if my professional services are right for you prior to booking your consultation.

In the event of an adverse reaction to treatment, cease prescription and treatment plan and contact me immediately so that I assess the situation and provide appropriate professional support.

In the event that you believe the treatment I provided you did not provide a therapeutic benefit that is even more reason for a return visit as prescription dose may need to be altered and/or a more suitable product prescribed to you. It does not indicate a lack of competency on my behalf. Every individual patient responds to treatment differently and this cannot be known prior to prescription, on some rare occasions trial and error may be required to determine the best prescription and treatment plan for you. If you believe you are more sensitive to treatment and have a history of adverse reactions to therapeutic products, please advise me during your initial consultation so a more gentle treatment approach can be prescribed for you.

I take my obligations under Australian Consumer Law seriously and will do my best to address any issues that arise. However, even if there is a major problem, my liability is strictly limited to:

replacing the goods or providing the services again; or
if I am unable to do so within a reasonable time, refunding the full amount that you have paid to me.

If you feel that there is any problem with my services, please let me know within 24 hours of your consultation. I am keen to understand what has gone wrong if you are unhappy so that I can address your concerns and try to find a mutually acceptable solution.

Delivery and Shipping

If anything is unclear or confusing, I encourage you to reach out to me so I can provide clarification.

As I use third-party online dispensaries; Vital.ly and Natural script for my prescriptions, postage charges are determined by these third-party suppliers. If you have any issues with your ordered product and/or with its postage, please contact me as soon as possible so that I can contact the company and rectify the issue.

Appointment Policies

Please refer to the online New Patient Form that you are requested to fill in prior to your consult for appointment policies.

Intellectual Property

You may not copy or reproduce any part of my publicly available content without my written consent. This means no copying or downloading under any circumstances. You may store, print and reproduce the publicly available content that I supply solely for your own personal use, and only if I am clearly acknowledged as the source.

If you are participating in my courses, content may be printed or downloaded to a local hard disk strictly for your personal and non-commercial use. Course content contains my trade secrets that are offered exclusively to participants. It is an essential condition of participation that you agree that you will not provide extracts of any course content to anyone else under any circumstances/without explicit written consent.
